People can leave their own tribute to Liam Payne on funeral-notices.co.uk as the website has created a page for the former One Direction star. The ‘Teardrops’ singer sadly passed away on Wednesday (October 16), he was just 31-years-old.

Liam was enjoying a holiday in Buenos Aires with his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, when he had a fall from the third floor of a hotel. Earlier this week, Liam was spotted at his bandmate Horan’s concert in Argentina, enjoying the show with Kate.

Liam gained fame in 2011 after his appearance on ITV’s The X Factor. Judge and music mogul Simon Cowell assembled him with Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, and Niall Horan to form the popular band.

After rising to fame as one of the largest pop groups globally with five albums and four world tours, the boy band entered an indefinite hiatus in 2016.

He initially tried out for The X Factor in 2008 when he was just 14 years old, performing Frank Sinatra’s Fly Me To The Moon. Judge Simon Cowell advised him to come back when he was older.

In 2010, he wowed the judges with his rendition of Michael Buble’s Cry Me A River. During the boot camp phase of the competition, he was grouped with four other solo contestants, which eventually formed the band One Direction.

In 2017, Liam welcomed his son Bear into the world, who he shares with former X Factor judge and Girls Aloud singer Cheryl.
