Laura Whitmore has taken part in a remarkable photo shoot, seamlessly blending into both a wildflower meadow and a luxurious bathroom.

The intricate body painting was the work of globally acclaimed artist Carolyn Roper, taking over eight hours to perfect the details that concealed Laura within the landscapes.

The photo shoot was orchestrated by haircare brand Timotei to promote their new podcast series, ‘A Gentle Start: The Showercast‘, which features Laura in the inaugural episode.

The 10-minute podcast episodes are designed for shower enjoyment featuring guests like Amber Gill, Martine McCutcheon, Chessie King, Ashley James and Whitmore.

The ex-Love Island host discusses her journey to regain control of her life following a high-profile media career, overcoming obstacles, and advocating for herself in the workplace.

She expressed: “In my busy life, it’s essential to embrace gentle living and take time for self-care. Whether it’s a calming bath, a hair mask, or a peaceful walk with my dog, these simple acts help me reset.

“I loved sharing my morning routine on the podcast and discussing personal challenges, like learning to speak up at work.”

A survey of 2,000 adults found that 86 per cent of Brits have considered adopting gentle living a trend aimed at managing modern stresses like an overload of technology (58 per cent) and work obligations (40 per cent).

Over half have attempted gentle living to decrease their stress levels and 43 per cent to simplify their lifestyle. The top ways of doing so were by being in nature (58 per cent) and during a bath or shower (43 per cent).
