Ireland’s leading country singer Nathan Carter is among the line-up for Féile an Phobail’s Country Festival set to take place next summer.

Carter, who was born in Liverpool to Newry parents and moved to Ireland at the age of 18 and now lives in Co Fermanagh, will join other country acts The Whistlin’ Donkeys and Lisa McHugh at the event in August 2025 in Falls Park.

Féile Belfast has said more acts will be announced at a later date.

The announcement of a Country Festival as parts of the arts festival’s line-up next year comes just months after Féile an Phobail’s Way Out West, which also featured Carter and The Whistlin’ Donkeys alongside trad act All Folk’d Up and took place in August.

It followed Belsonic’s Farmers Bash, which also took place earlier this summer.

Tickets go on sale for the event from Thursday and are priced from £20 at Ticketmaster.ie.
