Pierce Charles – 7

Starting XI

Windsor Park bow for the teenage stopper, Charles started the move that led to Price’s second and an extraordinary pass to Bradley ended in a disallowed goal. Wasn’t even tested with the penalty.

Brodie Spencer – 8

Terrific movement and strike for the third goal. Replacing Jamal Lewis at left-back, he sent Charles on his way in the move for the opener and helped to set up Price for his second. Outstanding performance.

Eoin Toal – 6

Booked and will miss the Belarus game after the incident that led to the penalty but no harm done. The defender struggled to recover after the collision and was replaced by Ciaron Brown.

Trai Hume – 7

Trademark no-nonsense tackling from the defender, Hume played his part in the clean sheet. Ruthless in attack, resilient at the back – it was like watching Brazil.

Conor Bradley – 7

Proud captain once again, the Liverpool man is a joy to watch when he’s bursting forward with pace. Quiet game by his own high standards but still a class act.

Paddy McNair – 7

On a night when the attacking players dazzled, McNair did his job in a quiet but effective manner. Was composed and showed all his experience.

Isaac Price – 10

Standard Liege man tucked home a stunning first half brace and then iced the cake with a belter near the end. Booked for a late challenge but who cares. A sensational strike and hat-trick.

Ali McCann – 8

Given the nod ahead of Saville, showed good strength early on and helped out his defence. Epitomised the intensity and desire of the team in the opening half.

Shea Charles – 9

Some silky skills and attacked with purpose. Didn’t get on the scoresheet but was majestic in the middle. Glided past players with ease. Titanic performance.

Callum Marshall – 7

On corner kick duty, his delivery and work-rate was impressive and almost hit the target with a dangerous cross. Good movement and awareness.

Dion Charles – 8

Drafted back into starting line-up and favoured to Jamie Reid, the Bolton man provided a delicious assist for Price’s goal. Zhivko Atanasov is still feeling dizzy. Dragged one shot wide.
