Amy Dowden and JB Gill are fast becoming a Strictly Come Dancing favourite of the current series, and the pair managed to achieve an impressive score of 30 last weekend.
The two performed a rumba, and while they received a lot of praise from the judges, Craig Revel Horwood took issue with one element of the routine which left both Dowden and Gill scratching their heads.
The couple’s passionate rumba left fans impressed and was largely well-received by the four judges, but Revel Horwood did have one particular criticism.
Following the steamy routine, Revel Horwood, 59, commented: “I felt like it got stuck in a few places, particularly when you put your leg behind your back.”
As the audience heckled his remarks, he continued: “There wasn’t enough connection.”
But this particular analysis has left fans and Strictly stars confused, with Dowden herself admitting she “disagreed” with Revel Horwood “for the first time”.

Speaking on Tuesday’s Strictly spin-off show, It Takes Two, she didn’t mince her words when asked about the comments.
Host Fleur East probed the dancer’s thoughts as she asked Dowden had it had been to perform a rumba on the show for the first time since she joined in 2017.
“I loved it,” the 34-year-old responded, adding: “The rumba’s my favourite Latin dance. And I’ve got so much respect for the judges…
“But I’ve got to disagree with Craig on the ‘there wasn’t enough connection’. My husband, lovely Ben, was sat at home and said, ‘she danced that with JB as though she was dancing it with me.’ He’s a dancer himself.

“And yeah, we felt really connected. So for the first time, I’m going to disagree with you there, Craig – sorry.”
“Well, do you know what? Your face said it all JB,” East revealed, to which the JLS star, 37, responded: “Did it? No, don’t!”
“Let’s take a look,” the presenter laughed before showing a clip of Gill reacting to Revel Horwood’s feedback as he looked visibly confused by the remark and seemed to ask “really?” as the judge made the connection comment.
The trio laughed after watching the clip, with Dowden adding: “Literally, there was a point where we were sat like this,” as she leaned against Gill and held his face in her hands, adding: “We couldn’t have been more connected!”

“How surprised were you to hear that?” Fleur asked the singer, who admitted: “That was just a shock because I was like, ‘how could I be more connected than I was?’
“I mean, even Chloe when I got home was like, ‘no, I definitely felt like there was a connection, at one point I thought you were kissing!’
“I was like, ‘no!'” before he explained: “As you know, she is very supportive.”
