Princess Kate was spotted “experimenting” with Meghan Markle’s favourite brand, a style expert has claimed, just weeks after the Sussexes’ Colombia tour.

The Princess of Wales released an emotional video in September, revealing she had finished her course of preventative chemotherapy.

For the video, Kate, 42, wore a £595 dress in ivory from Veronica Beard – a favourite brand of the Duchess of Sussex.

Just three weeks before, Meghan, 43, arrived in Colombia for a tour with Prince Harry, wearing a £598 top and £448 trousers from the same brand.

Peter Martinez, the co-founder of Leather Skin Shop, spoke exclusively to GB News, explaining what brands Kate will likely wear as she begins to gradually return to royal duties.

He said: “As the Princess of Wales gradually returns to public life, her fashion choices are sure to continue to mesmerise us.

“She is known for blending modern elegance with classics.

“While we can expect to see her wearing some of her favourite brands and designers from before her cancer diagnosis, I believe Kate will also embrace new styles and trends.

“Her recent choices, such as the bohemian midi dress by Veronica Beard and the purple Safiyaa dress she wore at the Wimbledon Men’s Final, demonstrate her willingness to experiment with her wardrobe.”

The purple Safiyaa dress which Kate wore at Wimbledon retails for a whopping £1,295.

Martinez continued: “One thing is certain: Kate’s style will always be a reflection of her personal journey and her role as a royal figure.

“As she continues to heal and undertake her public duties, we can expect to see her fashion choices evolve in inspiring ways.

“As a way to find solace and continuity, Kate might still opt for the classic styles and brands she wore before her cancer diagnosis.

“For instance, the impact of Alexander McQueen’s designs on Kate’s wardrobe is known to all and sundry.

“The designer’s innovative and dramatic aesthetic has resonated with the princess, who has often chosen McQueen for formal occasions.

“It is important to remember that McQueen’s designs are timeless and can be adapted to suit different styles and occasions.”

Princess Kate first wore Alexander McQueen on her wedding day to marry Prince William in 2011. The mother-of-three also wore a McQueen coat for her outing on Thursday to meet bereaved family members of the Southport stabbing victims.

Martinez added: “Recently, Kate has been seen rewearing a stylish brown checked coat by Blaze Milano during a church service.

“This coat is part of her chic autumn wardrobe and reflects her penchant for classic yet contemporary fashion.

“Kate has also recently reworn her Burgundy trouser suit by Roland Mouret with a tan top, reflecting her usual preference for structured outfits.”
