Footage shows a car badly stuck dangling at 45 degrees with its boot in the air after the driver lost control and crashed it through a fence and down a steep drop. There were reports of a serious emergency in Ashton as police and paramedics, including an air ambulance, rushed to the scene in South Liberty Lane earlier this afternoon (Friday, October 11) after a a car crashed into an industrial unit.

Photos taken show multiple emergency services in the area and Avon and Somerset Police have closed the road from South Liberty Lane to the South Bristol Link Road. Fire crews have also been photographed at the scene.

Photos and footage appear to show the vehicle hanging over the edge of a wall. It is not clear how many people were in the car when it crashed.

Eyewitnesses told Bristol Live: “A car missed the corner and went into a unit on the South Liberty Lane industrial estate at Brook Gate.” Another added that an air ambulance had landed at the incident but left the scene at around 2pm.
