Princess Kate could be donning her tiara once more, as the royal returns to public life following her cancer treatment.
Yesterday, Kate joined her husband William in a visit to meet with victims and emergency response teams from the Southport stabbings. It was the couple’s first joint public engagement since Kate’s cancer treatment came to an end.
At the beginning of this year, online conspiracy theories began to escalate about Kate’s health in the months after her abdominal surgery at the start of the year when she was not seen in public.
The princess eventually delivered an emotional video message to the nation in March revealing she was undergoing chemotherapy after post-operative tests showed cancerous cells were present. She said she would be stepping back from all royal duties to focus on recovery.

As Kate continues to step up her appearances, a recently announced state visit could provide the princess with an opportunity to don her tiara once more.
This week, Buckingham Palace announced that King Charles and Queen Camilla will host the Emir of Qatar and his wife, Sheikha Jawaher, at the royal residence, from December 3 to 4.
The pair can expect to be welcomed by a traditional ceremonial Horse Guards Parade and a grand state banquet at Buckingham Palace during their two-day visit.

HELLO!’s online royal correspondent, Danielle Stacey, previously explained: “Tiaras are usually reserved for state banquets, the Queen’s annual Diplomatic Corps reception and for Her Majesty, the State Opening of Parliament.”
Whilst it has not been confirmed whether Kate will attend yet, Camilla will almost certainly wear her tiara if there is to be a state banquet.
In June, he welcomed Japan’s Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako to the UK. They were greeted with a Horse Guards Parade at the Royal Pavilion, followed by a state banquet.

Camilla wore a Burmese ruby tiara that she inherited from Queen Elizabeth II, whilst the Empress wore Japan’s Imperial Chrysanthemum tiara.
When royals like Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Margaret were in their youth, they would wear glitzy sparklers for film premieres and theatre appearances, which the current generation of royals tend not to do.
Kate almost always wears a tiara during state visits, including the 2022 state visit from the President of South Africa.
Another recent occasion when Kate donned a tiara was last December during the Buckingham Palace Diplomatic Corps Reception.
