A newly established sixth form in Bristol is proving to be a local success following its launch in September.

Trinity Academy Sixth Form is an extension of Trinity Academy, which has gone from strength to strength since opening in September 2019, leading to its popularity as a secondary school choice in the area.

Earlier this year, the over-subscribed academy was rated by Ofsted as ‘outstanding’ in two major categories: ‘leadership and management’ and ‘personal development’.

Trinity Academy will also soon share its GCSE progress results – in terms of how students have progressed from primary school – which it believes will be some of the strongest results in the city.

Building on success

Thanks to Trinity Academy’s strong foundations and reputation, the sixth form is well-placed to continue delivering high-quality academic provision for students aged 16-18.

Accompanied by dedicated staff and modern facilities, the sixth form aims to offer exceptional teaching and learning experiences, alongside bespoke support and a broad range of co-curricular activities.

All of this will help to equip students with the knowledge, skills and confidence to progress and take their next steps – whether that be an established university, an exciting apprenticeship, or another promising pathway.

Since opening, the sixth form has already attracted students from 15 schools across the city, many of whom have praised its excellent quality of teaching, the care they are receiving, and the opportunities available to them.

Trinity Academy’s highly motivated staff are also relishing the opportunity to teach A Levels in their specialisms, whilst students enjoy the benefits of modern, purpose-built sixth form classrooms and facilities.

What’s more, students are getting involved in a variety of co-curricular activities, and have already had visits from industry leaders, including Trinity Hall, a college at the University of Cambridge.
