A property south of Quebec City allegedly controlled by the Hells Angels and one of its support clubs has been placed under a seizure order as part of an investigation into illegal firearms.

It is the same land, 50 kilometres south of the provincial capital, where the body of a 14-year-old boy from Montreal was found in September.

In a release, the Sûreté du Québec said on Tuesday that the “targeted location is linked to an ongoing investigation” and that a search warrant was carried out on the property on Oct. 4, 2023 in connection with illegal firearms.

“The order concerns an address comprising five buildings located on (a rural road) in Frampton. At the end of legal proceedings, these assets could be confiscated by the court.”

Police seized illegal firearms and ammunition while executing the search warrant last year. Three people were arrested and released on promises to appear in court if charges are filed against them.

The land has reportedly been used in the past as a meeting place for the Hells Angels and members of one of its support clubs, the Red Devils.

The body of Mohamed-Yanis Seghouani, a 14-year-old boy from St-Léonard, was found on the property in mid-September. Last month, the SQ confirmed the body was found in an area frequented by the Hells Angels, but would not confirm whether the group was connected to the death.
