The legendary hotel and casino, Tropicana Las Vegas, is going out with a bang today as the iconic building is imploded.

The hotel is scheduled for demolition during a ceremony in order to make space for a future baseball stadium.

Opened in 1957, the infamous resort closed its doors for good earlier this year on April 2.

A significant amount of dust is expected in the air after the demolition, with an air quality dust advisory being put in place by the Clark County Department of Environment & Sustainability.
