Toronto Police have laid 142 charges against three young Toronto men and a woman in an east-end auto theft and firearm investigation.

And cops say the men have all been in the justice system before.

In a release on Tuesday, investigators said they seized “a number of stolen vehicles” in the in the Neilson and Ellesmere Rds. area.

Through an investigation, they say they “gathered significant evidence relating to a group of men responsible for operating a stolen vehicle criminal operation.”

Between July and September, 17 stolen vehicles were recovered in the area where they had been left to “cool off” after being stolen.

On Sept. 27, search warrants were executed at two Toronto residences and police say they seized a Glock firearm and two extended magazines, a quantity of key fobs and car key programmers, and $27,000 cash.

Los Angelos Hankey, 19, was charged with 15 counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, eight counts of theft of a motor vehicle, seven counts of fail to comply with probation, trafficking in property obtained by crime over $5,000, conspiracy to commit an indictable offence, two counts of possession of a prohibited device, possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000, six counts of possession contrary to prohibition order, and 17 counts of possess automobile master key.

Dylan Getten, 22, was charged with 15 counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, seven counts of fail to comply with release order, eight counts of theft of a motor vehicle , trafficking in property obtained by crime over $5,000, conspiracy to commit an indictable offence, four counts of possess automobile master key, possession of a loaded firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized, possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000, and possession contrary to prohibition order.

Tyler Brown, 21, of Toronto was charged with 15 counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, seven counts of fail to comply with probation order, eight counts of theft of a motor vehicle, trafficking in property obtained by crime over $5,000, conspiracy to commit an indictable offence, four counts of possess automobile master key, possession of a loaded firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized, and possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000.

Ciyanna Wishart, 19, of Toronto, was charged with possession of a loaded firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm, and possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized.
