A man is dead after a shooting Monday night in the city’s north end.
Toronto Police said they responded to reports of a shooting just after 8 p.m. in the Trethewey-Black Creek Drs. area.
A man was found with injuries before being rushed to hospital in critical condition, police said on the social media site X. He was later pronounced dead.
Police said the homicide unit has taken over the investigation and to expect road closures in the area.
There was no immediate information on any suspects or the age of the victim.
