A Mediterranean restaurant on Bristol’s Gloucester Road appears to have closed down. Go Go Lounge, which is located just down the road from the recently opened Alfu international supermarket, removed its signage from the front of its venue on the bustling independent shopping street over the weekend.

According to Airsat Real Estate, the property has been sold for £130,000 on a long-term lease. The restaurant has not yet issued a statement confirming the closure, however the property listing advertises “a great long term lease opportunity” for a “commercial property of approximately 2,368 square foot spread out on two floors as well as a front outdoor space of 270 square feet, located on the most exposed part of Gloucester Road in Bristol”.

It goes on to say: “The layout offers three individual sitting areas each with a bar area of its own with five washroom facilities in total”. BristolLive has approached Go Go Lounge for comment.
