The 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser, an iconic name in off-road adventuring, is seeing a small bump in pricing over the ’24 model year. This latest generation of Toyota’s legendary Land Cruiser – returning to Canadian roads after a hiatus of more than 25 years – has been reimagined as an electrified SUV with modern technology and improved off-road capabilities. The base price for the 2025 Land Cruiser starts at $69,495.

The new Toyota Land Cruiser is built on the TNGA-F global truck platform, balancing off-road durability with on-road comfort. The i-Force Max hybrid powertrain combines a turbocharged 2.4L engine with an electric motor for 326 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque, allowing for a towing capacity of 6,000 pounds.

All models feature full-time four-wheel-drive, locking differentials, and a two-speed transfer case, with advanced off-road technologies like Crawl Control and Vehicle Stability Control. Higher trims add Multi-Terrain Select and a Multi-Terrain Monitor for enhanced rough-terrain capability.

Inside, the Land Cruiser offers heated front seats, multi-zone climate control, and a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Toyota Multimedia system is fitted with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is included with all new Land Cruiser SUVs; it offers features like a Blind Spot Monitor, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, eight airbags, and Intuitive Parking Assist. Premium trims add advanced safety systems such as Front Cross Traffic Alert and Driver Monitor.
