The UK’s largest kitchen and bedroom retailer will open its first Northern Ireland showroom on Friday in an investment of over £1.4m bringing 19 new jobs.
The Boucher Retail Park showroom is Wren’s 113th location in the UK and its 127th worldwide.
The company said it also offers a mobile design centre so that a renovation can be planned from a customer’s own home.
Wren says it offers “luxurious design at affordable prices,” with bedroom packages starting at £499.
The 14,000 sq ft Belfast showroom will display nearly 60 kitchen and bedroom lay-outs across two floors.
Colin McAlister, showroom manager, at Wren Belfast, said: “We’re proud to be launching our state-of-the-art showroom in Belfast and to be bringing our unique blend of quality and affordability to Northern Ireland for the first time.
“No matter where people are in the process of renovating their kitchen, bedroom or home project, we can support them with expert advice, as well as inspire them with design tips to help create their dream space – and at a price that works for them.”
The arrival of Wren in Northern Ireland was first revealed by Belfast Telegraph in January. Wren told Belfast Telegraph it would also open in Londonderry this year.
A distribution depot was also planned for Kilroot Business Park in Carrickfergus.
In January, it published a notice of its attention to apply for a licence to use a unit at Kilroot Business Park as an operating centre for 10 goods vehicles and five trailers.
