A road closure on the A5 is due to a “very serious incident”, an MLA has said.
The A5 is currently closed between its junctions with Leckpatrick Road, Ballymagorry and Woodend Road, Strabane.
All traffic is being diverted via Donemana.
In a post on social media, SDLP MLA Daniel McCrossan said: “The A5 remains closed this morning at Ballymagorry. It is not possible to pass through the village.
“Can I kindly ask people to seek alternative routes for their journey and to be patient with the local authorities.
“This is a very serious incident and will take time. Thank you.”
