Big Brother UK’s latest series kicked off on ITV2 with hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best, but it wasn’t long before viewers took to social media to express their irritation. The show introduced its first housemate, 29 year old dental assistant Rosie from Essex, now living in Cornwall, who quickly became a fan favourite.

However, fans couldn’t help but notice Rosie’s tendency to scream, which became apparent just minutes into the launch show. Frustrated viewers tweeted their reactions, with comments such as: “Can Rosie stop screaming #bbuk”, “Please stop screaming, Rosie. I have a dog. #BBUK”, and “Why is she screaming #BBUK.”

Others chimed in with remarks like: “Rosie seems nice but the screaming is slightly over the top #BBUK.”

and “Rosie seems sweet but I just can’t deal with the screaming #bbuk.”

One more optimistic fan added: “Honestly I think she’s just excited, which is to be expected I doubt she will be screaming like this into next week at least I hope #BBUK.”, reports the Mirror.

Rosie opened up about her decision to join Big Brother and expressed her excitement, “This is something I’ve always wanted to do and I know it’s so easy to say but it’s the best opportunity. I can’t tell you how grateful I am. I can’t even believe it’s happening! “.

As for her contribution to the house dynamics, she stated, “I’m hoping it’s going to be a little something different.”

“I think I’m going to bring positive energy. I am a good listener and I can be there to support people – I’m a supportive person. I’m quite an enthusiastic person so if people are feeling a bit low, I can get them back on track.”

Discussing what might lead to her nomination by fellow housemates, Rosie mused, “If people get to know me, I’m so calm and chill but I can come across quite chaotic. I think I’d probably be nominated for being the most annoying! “.

During Sunday’s launch, another contestant who caught attention was Nathan, 24, a former butler to King Charles. Before entering the house, he mentioned, “I was Prince [King] Charles’ butler. I think that’s one thing that will definitely surprise people.”
