Makeup enthusiasts are going wild for the latest release from Irish beauty brand Sculpted by Aimee, which has introduced a new mascara that’s causing a stir among fans who claim to be ‘already obsessed’.
The popular TikTok-famous brand, which has recently made its way into Selfridges, has launched its new Sculpted by Aimee LashLift Mascara. Promising to add volume and give an impressive lift to lashes, it’s a product that could see you ditching your beloved eyelash curler as, priced at £20, the wonder mascara is designed to keep your lashes volumised and lifted throughout the day.
Since its recent launch at the start of the month, the mascara has been selling rapidly online, with one being purchased every four seconds. Customers have been wowed by the results, with 93% of testers confirming a significant lash lift and 95% noting their lashes “look instantly lengthened”.
Available in the shades Ultra-Black for a dramatic effect and Rich Brown for a more natural look, the LashLift mascara features a wand with 252 lash-lengthening bristles for “effortless application”. Its formula has been crafted to ensure a smudge-free, budge-proof, and clump-free finish with ample definition, reports the Liverpool Echo.
To help perfect the application, Aimee, the founder and a professional makeup artist, demonstrated her technique for applying the LashLift mascara in a social media video. Beginning by placing the wand at the base of her lashes, she used a zig-zag motion while closing her eyes between layers to set the product perfectly.
She carefully built up the layers for complete coverage and the results were epic. Safe to say fans are in love with this new product, with one exclaiming: “Looks incredible, I can’t wait to get mine and try.”
Another raved: “I never knew my lashes could go so high! Just incredible.” Comparing how it measures up against the cult favourite, Sculpted by Aimee MyMascara, which flew off the shelves in just 23 minutes upon release, the brand’s beauty team shared the major change between the two: the wand design. It said: “MyMascara has a curved wand and LashLift has a tapered wand with 252 bristles on the brush.”
One delighted customer shared their LashLift mascara experience: “The very first day I wore it to work, a colleague said to me ‘Oh God, when did you start wearing fake lashes to work’, because the results are that good.”
Echoes of praise continued with another chiming in: “It glides on easily, separates lashes well, avoiding clumps, giving a bright-eyed natural look. Can’t wait to try the brown mascara now.”
A third added: “It does whatever it claims. Glad to have this in my makeup collection.”
Despite the Sculpted By Aimee site boasting near-perfect feedback from over 70 reviews, one lone critic struck a different note, pointing out: “This doesn’t do it for me. Yes, it has longevity. It lasts most of the day but for whatever reason, with this mascara, my lashes look limp and fairly insignificant on my face. I don’t go for big bushy full lashes so a light natural look is my preferred option but this is just lacking.” They weren’t a fan of the wand either, stating: “I find it a bit clunky to apply by comparison to the My Mascara wand and miss the curve that helps with application and lift.”
With the brand’s history of rapid sell-outs, like the Sculpted by Aimee 12-day Advent Calendar, expectations are high that the LashLift mascara will be a success. If you’re itching to try it for yourself, it’s available for purchase here.
On the other hand, Babe Original’s 4Real mascara offers a swift solution for elongating and separating lashes without clumping. This product can be purchased on Amazon for £14. Elsewhere, Charlotte Tilbury’s latest Exagger-Eyes mascara, priced at £28, promises to amplify lash volume by nine times and boasts a formula that encases each lash for a complete curl effect.
