Princess Beatrice was spotted for the first time since her pregnancy announcement leaving a celeb-stuffed London party.

The 36-year-old was pictured leaving a party at the Chiltern Firehouse in central London, a popular spot for celebrities.

Beatrice was dressed in a velvet blazer with a cinched waist and long sleeves. She paired the blazer with wide-leg trousers and glam make-up.

She was attending the event in central London to mark the swanky restaurant’s 10th anniversary.

Also in attendance was Noel Gallagher, who was partying just days after Oasis announced their first US dates in 16 years, Francis Ford Coppola whose new film Megalopolis has been hit with mixed reviews, and Idris Elba who joined Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer last month for the launch of a new anti-knife crime coalition.

Popstars Lily Allen and Ellie Goulding were also seen at the event as was American ambassador to the UK Jane Hartley and Emma Weymouth, Viscountess of Bath.

Earlier this week, Buckingham Palace announced the news that Beatrice was expecting her second child with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi next spring.

The couple, who wed in 2020, already share a daughter named Sienna, who celebrated her third birthday last month. Edo also has a son named Wolfie, eight, from a previous relationship.

Beatrice’s mother Sarah, Duchess of York – the ex-wife of the Duke of York – has also expressed her joy, writing on social media: “A very proud GiGi/Mum today. Such an incredible blessing and an embrace to my heart.

“Wolfie, August, Ernie and Sienna will be over the moon to have the fifth member of the five aside!”

The happy news comes during one of the royal family’s most personally challenging years, with the duchess, the King and the Princess of Wales all being diagnosed with cancer.

Sarah was treated for malignant melanoma skin cancer in January, just months after undergoing a mastectomy for breast cancer, but Beatrice said in May the duchess had been given the “all clear”.

Buckingham Palace said in a statement: “Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their second child together in early spring; a sibling for Wolfie, aged eight, and Sienna, aged three.

“His Majesty The King has been informed and both families are delighted with the news.”
