England boss Lee Carsley has reportedly made another bold decision ahead of his side’s Nations League clashes against Greece and Finland.

The Three Lions interim boss will be hoping to guide his side to two more victories, having overseen wins over the Republic of Ireland and Finland last month.


Carsley wasn’t afraid to roll the dice when he was given the keys to Wembley.

The likes of Angel Gomes and Morgan Gibbs-White were picked, despite the pair previously being overlooked by Gareth Southgate.

One player who hasn’t been called up in seven years is Dominic Solanke.

Yet The Athletic say the Tottenham star is set to be rewarded for his recent impressive form by being named in Carsley’s squad.

The forward failed to score during his first three games for the north London giants after touching down from Bournemouth back in the summer transfer window.

But the ex-Bournemouth, Liverpool and Chelsea forward has started to come good with three goals from as many matches.
