Popular restaurant Jean’s Bistro, which is located on Gloucester Road, is set to open a brand new foodie venture just doors away. Jean’s Bistro is a popular Thai restaurant serving up authentic Thai cuisine, and offering a dine-in and takeaway service.
Headed up by chef Jirarat, who says she started cooking when she moved to England and realised that at the time there were very few places cooking up her native Thai food, you can even buy a Jean’s stir fry sauce, made by her, to help you try and replicate the Jean’s Bistro taste from home.
And just a few doors away from the Bistro itself, Jean’s Thai Minimart has been supplying locals with Thai and Asian produce, frozen dishes, ready meals and more. However, now it is rebranding as Jinzu and will serve up freshly-made sushi, as well as teriyaki chicken, curries, rice bowls, noodles, and sashimi salad – all ready to be collected or delivered via UberEats.
Jean’s Thai Minimart shared a post to its Facebook page on August 30 to say: “Dear customer, just to let you know we will close next week for renovation. Hopefully we will open in three weeks time.”
Then, on Friday (September 27), the page updated its cover photo and shared an image which showcased a brand new shop front and name, ‘Jinzu’. The image was shared alongside a caption that simply read: “New version > Jinzu. Coming soon….”
