Princess Kate wore an iconic jewel today in a sweet nod to Zara Tindall, as a work update was issued for the Princess of Wales.
The mother-of-three returned to royal duties today as she welcomed a young girl battling cancer to Windsor Castle.
The royal, who recently announced she has completed her course of chemotherapy, took to social media with two new photographs.
The Princess of Wales, 42, was pictured alongside 16-year-old “Liz” at Windsor Castle, as well as her husband Prince William.
The heartwarming images posted to the royal couple’s official Instagram page showed the young photographer embracing Kate.
In a sweet nod to Zara Tindall, Prince William’s cousin, Princess Kate could be seen wearing the “Temple of Heaven Earrings” in yellow gold from the brand Cassandra Goad.
Kate previously wore the gems back in 2011 at Zara and Mike Tindall’s pre-wedding party on July 29, 2011.
The jewels continue to retail 13 years later for a whopping £2,780.

Captioning today’s post, Kate and William wrote in a joint statement: “A pleasure to meet with Liz at Windsor today.
“A talented young photographer whose creativity and strength has inspired us both.

Royal fans were overjoyed at the new pictures of the Princess of Wales today.
