Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather did not hesitate when asked who would best a prime Mike Tyson.
As two of the biggest names in boxing in history, finding anyone who can get the better of them in their primes is rare.
In Mayweather’s case, it is impossible – after he retired from boxing unbeaten from 50 fights.
The 47-year-old’s record is especially astonishing considering he also won 15 major world championships across five different weight classes from suepr featherweight to light middleweight.

Tyson, meanwhile, needs no introduction and dominated heavyweight boxing in the 1980s as a youngster.
Iron Mike completely changed the game as a smaller yet quicker heavyweight fighter with a ferocious punch that left boxers twice his size out cold.
But Mayweather reckons that one boxer would have destroyed Tyson, even at his best, Vitali Klitschko.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Money was told to name the boxer who would win in a head-to-head in a quickfire Q&A.

At first Mayweather said Frank Bruno would beat Deontay Wilder but that Tyson would beat Bruno, just like he did in 1989 when he beat him by technical knockout in the fifth round.
But Klitschko’s name then came up and Mayweather immediately said the Ukrainian would win.
There is no doubt Klitschko is arguably one of the greatest heavyweights of all time, boasting a record of 45-2 with 41 of those wins coming by knockout.

That also includes 12 title defences and alongside his brother Wladimir, they dominated heavyweight boxing in a period of history now dubbed ‘the Klitscko era’.
Injury ended his reign in 2004, keeping him out of the sport for four years before returning to winning ways immediately by claiming the WBC title with victory over Samuel Peter at the age of 37.

Tyson, meanwhile, will return to the ring after a much longer gap – 19 years to be precise – when he fights Jake Paul on November 15.
The legendary boxer has not fought professionally since being forced to retire on the stool in a shock loss to Kevin McBride.
While his YouTube opponent has only stepped into the ring with one boxer – a loss to Tommy Fury last year – the odds are in the 27-year-old’s favour due to the 31-year age gap – the largest in professional boxing.
