Meghan Markle’s memoir is set to spark a race for the best bombshell book following Prince Harry’s success, according to inside sources.

The Duchess of Sussex is thought to be considering publishing a tell-all memoir to follow in her husband’s footsteps.

Prince Harry’s explosive book ‘Spare’ made waves in January 2023.

Industry insiders suggest Meghan’s potential memoir could spark a fierce bidding war among publishers, with potential earnings in the tens of millions.

A source told Closer Online: “The word in publishing circles is that everyone’s mad to land Meghan’s memoirs and the numbers being thrown around are ridiculously high.”

They added: “We’re talking tens of millions for her authorised biography – it’s going to get to the point where she can’t say no.”

However, Meghan appears to be biding her time, with the source claiming she has “strategically chosen to hold off for the sake of peace”.

Prince Harry’s memoir ‘Spare’ reportedly earned him £27million, including a £14million advance payment.

However, it came at a cost to his relationships with the Royal Family.

The book contained several bombshell claims against various family members, including Prince William, Princess Kate, King Charles, and Queen Camilla.

Since its publication, Harry’s relations with the royals, particularly William, have deteriorated significantly.

Despite attending a WellChild awards ceremony in the UK this week, Harry did not meet with any Royal Family members.

Meghan, meanwhile, has not been seen in the UK for over two years, with her last visit occurring amid Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in September 2022.

The source suggests Meghan “absolutely wants to share her truth”, hinting at potential revelations in any future memoir.

Industry insiders believe her unique perspective on royal life could be a major draw for readers.

“And love her or hate her, there’s no denying that she has an insight into the royals that no one else can share,” the source continued.

However, the mother-of-two appears to be focusing on other ventures for now, including the launch of her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.

“She’s strategically chosen to hold off for the sake of peace, but she absolutely wants to share her truth – and why shouldn’t she?” the insider added.

Given the fallout from Spare, any revelations from Meghan could further complicate the Sussexes’ relationship with the monarchy.

However, the financial incentives may prove too tempting to resist, with publishers reportedly willing to offer substantial sums for her story.
