Football icon Marco van Basten has launched a stinging attack on Manchester United – and dubbed Marcus Rashford ‘very bad’.
The Red Devils went into the new season hoping to build on their shock FA Cup triumph over fierce rivals Manchester City back in May.
However, United have endured a nightmare season so far with their campaign going from bad to worse.
They currently sit 13th in the Premier League table, having picked up just seven points from six matches.

West Ham, Ipswich Town, Everton, Leicester City, Crystal Palace, Southampton and Wolves are the only teams below them in the table.
And with the pressure mounting on Ten Hag, Van Basten has now stuck the knife into the fallen giants.
Speaking to Ziggo Sport. he said: “Name me one top player at Manchester United?
“At every club you see a top player.
“Marcus Rashford is very bad. Bruno Fernandes is a good player, Andre Onana is a good goalkeeper. That’s it.
“Casemiro is done. Alejandro Garnacho is a decent player. But nobody carries that team.”
United were outclassed by Tottenham on Sunday as they crashed to a catastrophic 3-0 defeat.
One player who toiled was Manuel Ugarte, who has endured a slow start to life at Old Trafford following his summer arrival from Paris Saint-Germain.

And Van Basten blasted the Uruguay international by saying: “I saw a new player walking around at Manchester United, (Manuel) Ugarte, for €50million (£42.3m).
“How is this guy walking around there?
“It’s idiotic how much (Ten Hag) has decided to invest in players who are not even good.”
United won’t have too long to reflect on their defeat to Tottenham as they look to bounce back.

The Red Devils will do battle with Porto in the Europa League on Thursday, having drawn 1-1 with FC Twente during their opening match of the competition.
United will then look to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they tackle Aston Villa on Sunday.
For now, Ten Hag retains the support of the United hierarchy.
They’re adamant they won’t rush into any potential sacking, with Sir Jim Ratcliffe eager for the 54-year-old to be given time.

However, there is a sense that things must improve sooner rather than later if Ten Hag is to keep his job.
And two more defeats this week could prompt the Red Devils into wielding the axe, despite their current reluctance to do so.
