Prince Harry’s team has undergone a “noticeable shift” in how it operates, according to GB News’s Royal Correspondent Cameron Walker.

Speaking on the People’s Channel, Cameron said Harry could be “testing the waters” for a reconciliation with members of the Royal Family.

But he faces a challenge if this is the case, with Cameron noting the Duke’s fraught relations with his brother, Prince William, in particular.

He said on GB News: “When I have spoken to sources close to the Duke of Sussex in recent months, I have seen a noticeable shift in them not talking about family members.

“In fact, when I specifically asked if he will be seeing his brother or father when he was here for his uncle’s funeral, they said ‘we don’t discuss family matters’.

“It’s very similar to what Buckingham Palace or Kensington Palace would say as well.

“It suggests to me there could be some testing the waters, perhaps Harry wanting to try and mend relationships.

“But of course, the trust was so badly damaged with his memoir, Spare, and the Netflix series.

“I think particularly for Prince William, it’s going to take a lot to reconcile with his brother.”

Harry is to celebrate the achievements and resilience of seriously ill youngsters and their families during his rare trip to the UK.

It appears unlikely Harry will make contact with his brother as the brothers reportedly did not talk when they attended a family funeral in August in the UK.

Cameron said that if Harry were to speak to William or his father, King Charles, it is unlikely we will hear about it.

“Unfortunately for Prince Harry, all the speculation and all the questions will be about whether he is meeting his father or the Prince of Wales while he is here”, he said.

“Back in August, when he was here for his uncle’s funeral, he did not speak to the Prince of Wales.”

Isabel Webster noted that the King is currently in Balmoral, making the logistics for a possible meeting difficult.

“This is all about trust”, she said.

“The feeling is, the Royal Family are testing him somewhat to see whether or not they can have an open relationship with him where he doesn’t go and spill everything to the press.”
