Former Ukip leader Lois Perry has staged a major career U-turn and stepped out of politics and into lingerie modelling for the brand Fiore – looking miles away from her usual ready-for-business look.
After just 34 days, Perry stepped down as Ukip leader and said in a statement on her X account that she had made the “difficult decision” after being hospitalised with pneumonia in April just weeks before winning the leadership contest.
She described how she was left unable to breathe unaided, forcing doctors to place her in a high-dependency unit, and in her statement noted that after being “near death” she was stepping aside to “focus on my recovery”.
Now, Perry looks worlds away from politics after she was photographed by renowned photographer Andy Le Sauvage at a London studio this week, and she signed on to model for lingerie and hosiery brand Fiore.
The 43-year-old – who has since claimed she supports Reform UK – said of the career move: “I’m very excited to have won the contract to be the face and legs of Fiore.
“It’s a slight departure from my previous job leading UKIP, but I love new things and experiences so why not!!” with the Polish brand being sold on Amazon UK.

A spokesperson for Fiore said: “Fiore UK were delighted by the positive response to our designs from Lois Perry, well known political figure, and social affairs analyst.
“Lois shows that you don’t have to be a full-time model to look sensational in lingerie. We are delighted to be associated with Lois”.
Perry also posted the news on her X account, which read: “I am absolutely delighted to be signed as the face and legs of lingerie and hosiery brand Fiore UK It’s a slight departure from leading @Nigel_Farage’s old party @UKIP, but I love new experiences.”
Many were quick to congratulate Perry on her signing, with one noting: “Congratulations doll! Go shine!.”

“If you’ve got it, flaunt it! Brains & beauty is a devastating combination,” another expressed before a third teased: “I’m just glad that they didn’t sign Nigel instead.”
“Congratulations @LoisPerry26 and great luck with this new project,” someone else added before a fifth said: “Congratulations Lois and good luck in your new venture. Looking stunning.”
A sixth supportive fan penned: “Well done darling! You’ve put yourself out there and it has certainly paid off! Love this for you and can’t wait to see you shine.”
Perry’s resignation as Ukip leader came just one day after she officially endorsed former Conservative Deputy Chairman Lee Anderson, who is running as a Reform UK candidate for Ashfield.

Bill Ethridge told GB News: “Apparently Lois is unwell and I hope she recovers to full health soon.
“Personally I am extremely unhappy about what has happened and I feel that the party members have been let down.
