Josh Griffiths – 6
Admittedly some shakiness from corners again but the goalkeeper’s save at 1-1 to deny Josh Scowen was a moment of major importance at that time. However, for it not to mean much is a sickening blow. Was furious about the decisive goal but a foul was never going to be given.
Lino Sousa (off for Jack Hunt 70′) – 6
A couple of decent defensive moments but not quite as bright in the final third as he was last weekend at Peterborough. Didn’t drive at his man as much.
Connor Taylor – 7
Bar one slip against Richard Kone, a very solid afternoon for the towering defender who looked a lot more like his usual self. Alongside James Wilson, the 22-year-old seemed to have a response whenever the Gas’ goal came under siege until the final moment. Didn’t deserve to be on the losing side.
James Wilson – 7
Very similar to Taylor. Put his body on the line a number of times and made some outstanding blocks. Great personal response from a poor afternoon last weekend. Also didn’t deserve to be on the losing side.
Clinton Mola – 6
Not quite at his best. Could’ve scored his first Rovers goal in the first half but had a few shaky moments.
Luke Thomas – 6.5
Largely very lively and will be kicking himself that he didn’t make it 2-0 in the second half, firing agonisingly wide. Equally won’t be pleased about his role in Wycombe’s equaliser as Daniel Harvie cut inside when up against the winger before firing into the top corner. Cracking finish in fairness.
Jamie Lindsay – 6
A few sloppy passes but equally some bright moments winning the ball back for his side. The midfielder’s experience evidently helped when Rovers’ goal came under siege, making some important clearances. Will be kicking himself that he didn’t score late on from Jack Hunt’s cutback.
Grant Ward (off for Kamil Conteh 70′) – 7
A real engine in the middle of the park. The midfielder will get a goal sooner or later with this another game where he tested his luck with a low effort from some range, this one being deflected behind. Seemed to be everywhere for the Gas.
Scott Sinclair (off for Shaq Forde 75′) – 8
Arguably a surprise inclusion in the starting line up but it was a no brainer to start the captain with the formation change. Took his goal well and was a real livewire in and around the penalty area. Easily his best performance of the season so far.
Ruel Sotiriou (off for Luke McCormick 75′) – 7
A real handful for the Wycombe defence to deal with. Constantly tried to close down the space and won the ball back high up the pitch on a few occasions which is exactly where is assist for Scott Sinclair’s opener came from.
Gatlin O’Donkor (off for Promise Omochere 55′) – 6
Didn’t get the opportunity to score he would have wanted but worked his socks off and came off looking absolutely shattered. The yellow card was unfortunate.

Substitutes:
Promise Omochere (on 55′) – 6
Used his body well and won the ball high up the pitch on a few occasions. Didn’t get a chance to score.
Jack Hunt (on 70′) – 6.5
Made a notable impact from the bench. There aren’t many full-backs in this division with a better crossing range than Hunt and it showed. Has certainly played himself into contention to start on Tuesday night.
Kamil Conteh (on 70′) – 5
Made a few clearances and protected the defence when his teammates went forward to push for a winner.
Shaq Forde (on 75′) – 5
Had no right to be offside in a position that would have seen the forward played through on goal.
Luke McCormick (on 75′) – 5
Didn’t have much to do. Surprised not to see the midfielder start after last weekend’s goal.
