Mikel Arteta feels Leandro Trossard deserves to be reinstated as the named goalscorer for Arsenal’s third goal in their dramatic win over Leicester on Saturday.
The Gunners appeared in cruise control against the Foxes with goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Trossard giving them a 2-0 lead at half-time.
But James Justin got the visitors back level with two goals in the second half to threaten a huge upset.
Arsenal kept pushing for a late winner in the match and it came after a Bukayo Saka corner wreaked havoc in the box.

The ball flew over to the back post where Trossard stabbed it back towards goal, which hit Wilfred Ndidi and bounced into the back of the net.
Pandemonium ensued with Arsenal’s substitutes rushing onto the pitch to celebrate with Trossard.
Kai Havertz then added a fourth to make sure of all three points for Arsenal as they moved level with Manchester City on points.
Trossard has made a habit of scoring important goals for Arsenal since his move from Brighton, but his second against Leicester was changed to an own goal off Ndidi.
When asked what he thought Trossard being denied a second with Arsenal’s third goal going down as an own goal, Arteta said: “Hopefully not.
“Disappointed because he’s done so much today to score.
“His contribution to the team has been really sweet today.”
Arteta was getting ready to make some substitutions just before Arsenal regained the lead in stoppage time.
But the Arsenal boss replied “no” when asked whether Trossard was one of the players he was going to take off.

Arteta wasn’t happy seeing his side squander their two-goal lead from earlier in the game.
However, he praised his side’s ability to bounce back after a disappointing start to the second half.
“I am happier with how we dealt with it – emotionally in control,” Arteta said.

“It was worrying. In theory, we should have never got to this point – but this is football. This is the beauty of football, in relation to other sports.
“It got very emotional. More than we wanted certainly.
“After 2-0 the result should have been bigger. This is the Premier League. “They scored two goals. But I’m really pleased with the way we responded.”
