Bristol is set to be battered by heavy rain for the rest of today and the start of tomorrow, Friday, September 27. The Met Office has issued a yellow rain warning which is in place until 9am tomorrow.
Forecasters are expecting the heaviest rain to arrive in Bristol at around 7pm this evening, Thursday, September 26. The downpours will then remain heavy until the early hours of tomorrow.
The Environment Agency (EA) has issued a number of flood warnings and alerts across the region. People have been urged to be prepared for flooding with low-lying land and roads set to be impacted.
