A young man in his 20s has died after falling from height in Bristol. The man’s death is being treated as unexplained at this time and an investigation is under way, Avon and Somerset Police have said.
On Saturday, September 21, emergency services were called to the incident on Broad Street. A 29-year-old man sustained serious injuries after a fall and was rushed to hospital. His injuries proved fatal.
His next of kin have been informed and are receiving support. A woman in her 30s was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm in connection with the incident. She has been released under investigation.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: “A 29-year-old man who suffered serious injuries following a fall from height in Broad Street, Bristol, on Saturday evening has sadly died in hospital.
“The man’s next of kin have been updated and our thoughts are with them at this extremely difficult time. Our enquiries are continuing and his death is currently being treated as unexplained.
“A woman in her thirties, previously arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm, remains released under investigation.”
