Keir Starmer is an “absolute disaster” and is the “most unpopular prime minister in my lifetime”, according to Reform UK MP Lee Anderson.
Speaking on GB News, Lee hit out at the PM amid a series of controversial decisions that have seen his position in the opinion polls plummet.
Sir Keir sought to remedy some of the early concerns thrown up in the early stages of his tenure at the Labour Party annual conference in Liverpool this week.
But a row over donations to himself and other senior figures in the Labour Party continues to rumble on, and questions are still being asked about his Chancellor’s decision to scrap winter fuel payments for thousands of pensioners.

“I don’t think Keir Starmer knows what he is doing from one day to the next”, he said.
“He is making gaffes all over the place. He has been an absolute disaster. He has probably the most unpopular PM in my lifetime.

“He has only been PM for about 10 weeks. He is out of his depth like the whole Labour front bench. He doesn’t know what he is saying or what he is doing.
“He is in an absolute mess. I mean, look at the state of him.”
It comes after Sir Keir said he is sympathetic to those with concerns about immigration, telling GB News’s Christopher Hope that not all of this cohort can be classed as racists.
Asked by Patrick Christys if Starmer is “waking up to the idea” of their local area “changing forever” as a result of mass immigration, Lee went on to take aim at his history in the Labour Party.

“I think what you have to realise is, Sir Keir Starmer was never intended to be the PM of this country”, he said.
“He was meant to rein in the lefties and steady the ship. We all know Wes Streeting was destined to become Labour leader.
“I feel a bit sorry for him. He is out of his depth and he doesn’t know what he is doing.
“It’s one scandal after another with the donations. He is completely out of touch with the country.

Starmer told GB News today that people worried about migration are “absolutely not” linked to the ‘far-right’.
He joined GB News’s Political Editor Christopher Hope in New York, where he is meeting world leaders at the annual meeting of the United Nations General Assembly.
When asked whether people who are worried about immigration were seen by him as “far right”, Starmer said: “Absolutely not.”

He continued: “Many, many people across the country are concerned about immigration, but they wouldn’t for a minute go on to the street and throw a brick at a police officer.
“And I think it is wrong to pretend or it that they are one of the same. They are not.”
The Prime Minister told The People’s Channel: “I do understand people have legitimate concerns about immigration, and we should debate them.
“And where they say to me [that] we think migration is too high, then I tend to agree with that.
“Among the reasons is because of the skills failure over the last years, and we need to fix that.
“I think this is a healthy discussion. I don’t think it should be something that we shy away from.”
“But what I won’t do is ally that with the thuggery on the streets,” he said, because people who are “genuinely concerned about immigration” aren’t and should not be lumped in with violent rioters.
