Cops have arrested one man and are hunting another after the theft of two luxury vehicles in an Entertainment District parking garage left police vehicles damaged.

Toronto Police were called around 10 a.m. on Sept. 17 for a theft of a vehicle in process in the area of King St. W. and Portland St.

Officers found two men driving two luxury vehicles in an underground parking garage and attempted to stop the stolen vehicles by blocking the garage exits.

They say the drivers “caused significant damage to the police cars.”

One driver wasn’t able to break through the barricade and was arrested while the the driver of the second stolen vehicle escaped. The vehicle was located “a short distance away unoccupied.”

Police were granted a search warrant for an unspecified location in Toronto and say they located a mini Glock 43 – 9mm handgun, a Smith and Wesson airweight revolver, motor vehicle master key with computer laptops, numerous fraudulent identification and licence plates, and break and enter tools used for auto thefts.

Kevaughn Coore, 35, of Toronto, has been arrested and charged with two counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm, two counts of possession of a firearm knowing unauthorized, two counts of possession of a prohibited device knowing no authority, two counts of possess loaded regulated firearm, unlawfully purchase automobile master key, possess firearm of crime outside of Canada, possession property obtained by crime over, theft of motor vehicle, dangerous operation of motor vehicle, fail to remain at scene of accident, drive no plate, possess break-in instruments, obstruct peace officer, and use forged document.

Cops have released images and video of the second man, who is described as 20 to 30 years old, about 5-foot-11 and 170 pounds with a thin build.

He was wearing a black baseball hat worn backwards, black zipper-front jacket, black hoodie, black tight pants, black shoes, and a surgical black mask.

He also walks bow legged.
