Brighton and Nottingham Forest descended into chaos after both managers were sent off following a red card shown to Morgan Gibbs-White.

The England international scythed down Joao Pedro as he crossed the halfway line having already been booked.

Referee Rob Jones took his time before showing the second yellow and ordering him off the pitch, despite making what appeared to be a ball gesture.

Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo went barmy, screaming and pointing aggressively at the referee.

And Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler also became embroiled in the touchline chaos as Forest coach Rui Pedro Silva was booked too.

The game was 2-2 at the time amid a great Premier League battle with both teams mounting comebacks.

Gibbs-White was furious with the decision as he walked off the pitch, even getting into fourth official Anthony Taylor’s face and pointed a finger.

While the midfielder did get the ball, he certainly took plenty of the man as well and gave the referee a decision to make after already being booked.
