Prince William’s formal agreement was “not needed for Lady Louise Windsor” as she made her major move, a PR expert has exclusively told GB News.

The 20-year-old is studying at the University of St Andrews, the same institution attended by William and Princess Kate between 2001 and 2005.

The Prince of Wales’s attendance at the university caused a massive stir, with crowds of people gathering to watch him arrive on his first day.

Sir Michael Peat, the former private secretary to King Charles, promised to give the press information about William at least once a term, in an effort to ease the unrest among tabloid papers.

In contrast, William’s younger cousin Louise has experienced a much quieter university experience.

Luana Ribeira, the founder of Dauntless PR, spoke exclusively to GB News to explain how Louise managed to achieve privacy whilst being a royal at university.

She said: “St Andrew’s University is well versed in navigating the realities of having a royal student.

“Prince William largely stayed out of the spotlight while he studied there and he had a much higher profile than Lady Louise.

“When Prince William attended St Andrew’s, newspaper editors agreed not to publish paparazzi shots in return for regular and controlled updates from Sir Michael Peat.

“He was the private secretary to the then-Prince Charles during this period.

“It is unlikely a formal agreement like this is necessary for Lady Louise as there is less press interest in her than her older cousin.

“However, I imagine Lady Louise probably chooses her friends carefully and avoids situations which are likely to attract unwanted attention.”

Lady Louise is a member of the Officers’ Training Corps (UOTC) at her university.

She has previously said to be interested in “pursuing a career in the military, diplomacy, or law”.

The daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh would make history as the first female royal to serve in the military since the late Queen Elizabeth II.

Louise is believed to have “fallen in love” with her future career choice.
