M1 closed in both directions as emergency services deal with ongoing incident

Road Users are advised that due to an ongoing incident the M1 Westbound near Craigavon will be closed at junction 11 Ballynacor. PSNI are in attendance. Please find an alternative route for your journey.

UPDATE: The PSNI has now closed the M1 in both directions due to an ongoing incident. The motorway is now closed from Eastbound junction 12 Birches as well as Westbound at junction 11 Ballynacor.

Ballymoney road reopens after crash

The earlier incident on the A26 Frosses Road between the Kilraughts Road roundabout and Kirk Road junction has now been cleared and the road has reopened.

Ballymoney crash

The Frosses Road in Ballymoney was closed between the Kirk Road and its junction with the Kilraughts Road roundabout in the early hours of this morning due to a serious road traffic collision. Police said closures were likely to be in place overnight, with local diversions in place.

Castlereagh disruption due to burst water main

The Manse Road has been closed in Castlereagh, from Church Road to Rocky Road, due to a burst water main.

A diversion is in place via Ballygowan Rd, A55, Saintfield Rd, Newton Park, plus additional diversions are in place for locals.

The Glencregagh Road has also been closed and local diversions are in place.
The closure will be in place until tomorrow morning.
Drivers are warned to expect major delays within the area and are asked to find an alternative route.

Co Fermanagh road closed due to fire at derelict hotel

The Forthill Street road in Enniskillen is currently closed due to a fire at a derelict hotel. The PSNI and fire service are in attendance. The PSNI has urged the public to avoid the area and seek alternative routes for their journey. Forthill Street is likely to be closed for some time while emergency services deal with this incident.

A Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) Spokesperson said:NIFRS crews are currently dealing with an ongoing incident at Forthill Street, Enniskillen.  At present there are nine fire appliances and 43 personnel carrying out firefighting operations. We would advise members of the public to avoid the area where possible and nearby homeowners to keep their windows and doors closed.”
