Amir Khan has given Anthony Joshua some advice as the 34-year-old prepares to face Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium tonight.

All eyes will be on AJ when he steps out in the capital, with the boxing star hoping to make it five victories on the spin since his defeat to Oleksandr Usyk two years ago.

Joshua is the favourite to win the bout, especially given how well he dismantled Francis Ngannou back in March.

But Dubois won’t be an easy opponent, especially with the 27-year-old beating Farrell Miller and Filip Hrgovic since his own defeat to Usyk last year.

Khan, speaking to Pro Boxing Fans, has now opened up on tonight’s fascinating showdown.

The 37-year-old believes Dubois is a ‘dangerous’ opponent for AJ.

But he does reckon Joshua will be able to emerge victorious if he ‘stays focus’ and doesn’t ‘take his eye off the game’.

“Dubois is a sleeping giant. You can’t sleep on that guy. He’s very dangerous,” he said.

“If AJ takes his eye off the game, he can get hurt.

“Dubois, we’ve seen, he’s got a lot of power. He’s strong. This fight is not easy for Joshua.

“I think it will be a tough one but as long as he stays focused, he’s got the skills, the ability, the power. If he sticks to his plan, he’ll win the fight.”

Khan also caught up with Joshua during the weigh-in. When quizzed on what was said, he added: “He was just saying hello.

“We obviously had a quick chit chat. He said, ‘Thanks for coming. How you been? See you tomorrow.’ That’s it.

“Keeping it simple and real. I just gave him my best wishes and said good luck.”

Meanwhile, Tyson Fury has also been asked for his verdict on the fight.

The Gypsy King is set to face Joshua in a blockbuster two-fight arrangement if AJ is able to win tonight’s clash.

Fury will also need to avoid coming to any serious harm when he goes up against Usyk later this year.

And the 36-year-old refused to table an official prediction, instead merely expressing a belief the fight will be one to remember.

“It’s heavyweight boxing, anybody can beat anybody, as we’ve seen in the past,” he said in an interview with The Stomping Ground.

“Who is gonna win? I don’t know. I don’t know anything about boxing, obviously. Every time I say a prediction I get it wrong anyway.

“I predict it will be a good fight. It looks like someone might get knocked out.

“They are both big old punchers, ain’t they?

“You wouldn’t want to get punched in the face or in the b******s by any of them.”
