Reform MP Lee Anderson ripped up his TV licence reminder live on stage at the Reform UK conference in Birmingham.
Speaking to the audience the first sitting Reform MP said: “A few weeks back, they sent me a reminder for my TV licence. Some of you may have seen that I ripped it up on online. Guess what? They’ve sent me another. Now, what do you think we should do with this?”
The Ashfield MP dramatically ripped up the letter before he continued: “Friends, we have a real battle on our hands to save our great country. You know this, but it’s you, the people’s army that are our last defence because Parliament has given up on us. We’ve got five MPs now, and I’m proud to be one of them. And our membership is growing every single day.”
