Ronnie O’Sullivan and Laila Rouass’ friends hope their split is just a ‘blip’ and that the couple get back together, according to reports.
It emerged late on Thursday night that the pair had opted to call time on their relationship after 12 years of dating.
With O’Sullivan busy playing snooker, and Laila focusing on her acting career, the couple have now gone their separate ways.
They first got back together all the way back in 2012 and previously split for a brief period two years ago.

O’Sullivan and Laila don’t appear to follow each other on social media any more, too.
But The Sun say those who know the pair are hoping this development is merely a ‘blip’ and they’re able to reconcile once more.
“Ronnie and Laila make a lovely couple so the people who know them best are hoping this is a blip like back in 2022,” they’re quoted as saying.
Laila has been by O’Sullivan’s side over the past 12 years as he’s dominated snooker.

During recent months, however, the Rocket has struggled to scale the same dizzying heights of old.
O’Sullivan was sent crashing out of the English Open earlier this week, with the snooker icon downbeat after his defeat.
He revealed he was played with his left hand, rather than his favoured right, because he’s ‘absolutely useless’.
And he also suggested he could soon retire from snooker by saying: “I haven’t got long, I’m not going to deny it.

“I’m not playing well enough, there’s no point in even worrying about it.
“I’ve just accepted it now which is quite a nice place to be really.”
He added: “I don’t even care, I’m just here to fulfil my commitments to my sponsors, get away from home, travel.
“If I can get a couple of years out of it that will be great. If I can’t, I can’t.

Speaking last year, meanwhile, Laila opened up on her reconciliation with O’Sullivan in 2022.
When asked how they got back together, she said: “We found our way back, we just worked it out.
“Back when I announced it, we hadn’t been together for almost eight months at that time.
