Penny Lancaster, 53 has admitted that Rod Stewart’s, 79, oldest daughter Kimberly Stewart, 45, inspired her to make a major change to their home.
Lancaster joined the Loose Women panel today alongside Charlene White, Denise Welch and Linda Robson, where they discussed the news that the company Tupperware filed for bankruptcy.
The ITV presenters were left heartbroken with the news, even leaving Robson to pretend to cry, before they teased Lancaster for the amount of storage boxes she had in her home.
White began: “Ok we are going to have a moment of reflection now, we have got some sad news. It’s for those of you who love a food storage container… Tupperware has gone bust! I know, they have been a kitchen staple since 1946 and even our late queen was a fan.”
Lancaster added: “I remember those days in the parties and the Avon and the Tupperware parties, bringing everyone together and it was all about organising and demonstrating how we can make our living space look more organised and pretty and efficient.
“It does seem a shame but maybe it was the sort of plastic they produced that was toxic-free.”

“I mean it’s a shame though because I feel like most of them containers are in Penny’s pantry…” White teased before some clips of Lancaster’s home she shared with Stewart were shown.
Looking embarrassed at the excessive amount, Lancaster explained: “I was inspired by Rod’s older daughter Kimberly, during lockdown she had an incredible idea, how we all done that big spring clean during lockdown, we didn’t have much else to do with our time.
“Some of her work, she goes into these very luxurious homes and organises everybody’s pantries, wardrobes, when they don’t have time and they are busy working, that is what she does.
“I was inspired by her, we did a brand new kitchen at home, which probably hasn’t been renovated for 20 years and this was day one though, so in about six months it won’t look anything like that!”

Welch interjected when her cupboard where shown and joked: “When I grow up I want to be Penny Lancaster, and in my mind that is who I am, sadly…. this is… I have got Gaviscon with some sugar, cereal and raisins.”
The admission from Lancaster comes after rumours surfaced that she and Stewart were at loggerheads when it came to the decision to sell their LA home and move back to the UK for good.
A source alleged that Lancaster was “furious” by Stewart’s desire to keep their Californian home as she reportedly had “no plans” to fly back Stateside.
The former model quickly rubbished the idea that the pair were struggling to come to a decision and shared a clip of herself at the beach, watching the sunset on a Floridian beach.

As the waves crashed and she buried her feet into the sand, she captioned the short clip: “My happy place,” followed by a love heart emoji.
Lancaster wasn’t the only one to set the record straight on their 17-year marriage, as Stewart posted a lengthy statement on his Instagram which read: “Despite erroneous articles in the Daily Mail and other tabloids that followed suit. We wanted to put the record straight.
“There is absolutely no rift between Penny and I and no disagreement over where we should reside, in fact, it’s the opposite. We moved permanently back to our beloved Britain a year ago but are fortunate to also have homes in different countries, which we love to visit.
“Originally, we did think it made sense to sell our house in LA. But having spent a wonderful time there this summer with family and friends during my Vegas residency we realised that it makes sense to keep our house there.
“Two of my eldest children still live in Celtic House (the LA residence). Penny and I could not be more in love with each other after 27 glorious years. Please trust me on this… there’s no disharmony in our marriage. Rod ‘A very lucky man’ Stewart.”
