Police in York Region are investigating an incident at a Keswick park and have asked residents to avoid the area.
According to social media updates Wednesday morning, York Regional Police say there is a heavy police presence in the area of Bayview and Lowndes Aves.
Police say the incident is isolated to Bayview Park.
Officers have set up a perimeter from Dovedale Dr. to the south, Bayview Ave. and The Queensway to the northwest, and Fairwood Dr. to the east.
In addition, police say schools in the immediate area were put in a hold and secure as a precautionary measure.
