A man in his 80s has died after being struck by a van in Co Donegal.
The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries in the collision on the R238 at Annagh near Clonmany at around 6.20pm on Wednesday evening.
A coroner has been notified and a post mortem is to be arranged.
The road is due to be closed overnight to facilitate a technical examination by Garda forensic collision investigators.
Gardai have appealed for any witnesses to come forward and are also asking anyone with dashcam footage from the area at the time of the collision to make it available.
