Actions of the British Government on Friday over Casement funding ‘shambolic’ says First Minister

First Minister, Michelle O’Neill said the actions of the British Government on Friday evening were ‘shambolic’. The Government announced on Friday night it would not be providing funding to redevelop Casement Park in time for the tournament. It said the estimated cost of rebuilding the west Belfast stadium has “risen dramatically” to more than £400m.
