Lexus has announced updates to its ES sedan lineup for 2025, which includes the ES 250, ES 350, and ES 300h hybrid. The models are on sale now and the lineup starts at $49,685.

The ES is one of five cars in Lexus’ lineup, alongside the IS, RC, LC coupe and convertible, and the LS.

Upgrades to the ES for 2025 include an ES 350 Black Line Special Edition, which builds on the F Sport 2 trim with black spoiler, mirrors, side moldings, interior trim, and unique floor mats. The ES 350 and ES 300h F Sport 2 now have a panoramic view monitor; and Lexus Safety System+ 2.5, a package of driver-assist technologies, is standard on all trims. All trims also include Lexus Interface, a touchscreen display that includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, satellite radio, natural language virtual assistant, and remote device compatibility through Lexus apps.

The ES lineup starts with the ES 250 AWD (all-wheel drive), with 2.5L four-cylinder engine making 203 horsepower and with eight-speed automatic transmission. Its AWD system primarily drives the front wheels, but when extra traction is needed, can send up to 50% of engine power to the rear. Trims are the Signature at $49,685 and the Premium at $53,365.

The 300h uses a 2.5L four-cylinder engine with self-charging hybrid system, making a combined 215 horsepower with a combined city/highway fuel consumption rating of 5.3 L/100 km. It comes as the Premium trim at $55,414; the Luxury at $62,064; and the Ultra Luxury at $66,219.

The ES 300h can also be ordered as the F Sport Design, which builds on the Premium trim with 19-wheels and F Sport styling cues for $57,251; and as the F Sport2, including adaptive variable suspension, for $62,781.

The ES 350 uses a 3.5L V6 that makes 302 horsepower and with eight-speed automatic transmission. Its Premium trim is $53,364; other trims include the Ultra Luxury at $64,170; F Sport Design at $55,374; and F Sport 2, also with adaptive variable suspension, for $61,584. The new Black Line Special Edition, which Lexus said is a limited-production model, is $64,541.
