The Montreal Alouettes announced Friday they have extended the contract of left tackle Nick Callender through 2026.

Callender, 30, has started all 11 of Montreal’s games this season, and played in every game in 2023, when he was named to the East Division All-Star Team.

“We are happy to count on Nick for two more seasons,” Alouettes General Manager Danny Maciocia said in a team statement. “He’s been with us since 2021, he understands our system, and helps everyone around him get better because of his intensity.”

The Alouettes are on a bye week this week and host the B.C. Lions on Sept. 6.
