A major security alert in Co Down is continuing today.
It follows the discovery of suspected historic munitions near Newtownards yesterday.
Police remain at the scene of the discovery in the Rivenwood area this morning.
People have been urged to stay away from the area.

Superintendent Johnston McDowell said: “We are continuing this morning to ask members of the public to avoid the area where possible.
“I appreciate this may cause some disruption, however keeping people safe is paramount and we will not take any risks. I want to thank those who may be affected for their patience at this time.
“Updates will be provided in due course as the incident develops.”
