Shots have been fired and a car set on fire in Larne overnight.
It’s not yet known whether the two incidents are linked.
Shortly after midnight, shots were fired at the house at St John’s Place.
A short time later, a car was set on fire after a petrol bomb was thrown and the windows of the vehicle smashed at Hampton Crescent, trapping five people inside a house.

Detective Sergeant Erskine said: “This is being treated as arson with intent to endanger life and enquiries are ongoing.
“I am appealing to anyone with any information on either attack to contact police on 101 quoting reference 26 of 16/08/24.”
