A 25 year old woman has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, two counts of common assault and possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence.
She is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on Friday 6th September.
Officers responded to an incident at a property in north Belfast in the early hours on Sunday morning.
Two people suffered knife injuries and a third was punched in the head.
Sergeant Green said: “At approximately 1.50am a report was received that three people had been assaulted by the woman at a property in the Cairndale area.
“Two people were sliced with a knife during the attack and a third person was punched in the head.
“Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or with footage that could assist with enquiries is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 110 of 10/08/24.”
