A shooting late Thursday in the city’s east end near Woodbine Beach has left one person dead.
Toronto Police were called to the Lake Shore Blvd. E. and Joseph Duggan Rd. area, near Woodbine Ave., around 10:40 p.m. for reports of a shooting.
Police located a male with gunshot wounds and emergency crews transported him to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Cops later posted to X that the victim had died. No other information on him or on suspects was immediately provided.
Police said to expect a large police presence in the area for the investigation.
